Deutsche Beteiligungs AG invests in management consultancy UNITY AG

Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) will invest in UNITY AG, and thus lay the foundation for additional inorganic growth for the management consultancy. The transaction is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of September. 

In the past few years, UNITY has grown by an average of 13 percent per year, clearly outperforming the overall market in Germany (approx. 7 percent). In the renowned Lünendonk® list, UNITY rose three places to 14^th place in 2024 in a ranking of the most important management consultancies in Germany. The strategic partnership with DBAG will enable UNITY to make future acquisitions and M&A transactions. The current consolidation in the consulting market is an ideal starting point for this. With the brand essence 'Innovation and Transformation,' the company is looking forward to great opportunities for growth. These can now also be realized through strategic acquisitions. "DBAG's diverse M&A experience will also help us here. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and the opportunity to work together on our strategic development," says Tomas Pfänder, member of the Executive Board of UNITY AG.
